Burt Gesserman is our Director of Real Estate Services. Backed by a wealth of experience, Burt offers his clients important insight into the hidden obstacles and golden opportunities that comprise commercial real estate. He advises them in the areas of forecasting, deal analysis and tax strategies. In addition to his real estate clients, Burt services manufacturing and distribution businesses, professional service firms and media related enterprises.
Outside of the office, Burt and his wife enjoy travel and golf, and take great pride in the accomplishments of their two daughters who attend NYU Law School and Washington University Graduate School. Burt also enjoys organizing and running the Annual Gesserman Turkeybowl (a Thanksgiving Day touch football game with family and friends) that has been played every year without interruption for over 45 years.
Burt is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and is Treasurer of B'nai B'rith Housing New England which is dedicated to the development of senior citizen and affordable housing in greater Boston. Burt is also Chairman of Alliott Group North America and a member of Alliott's Worldwide Board of Directors. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts and his Masters of Science in Taxation from Bentley College.
