As a director at Walter Shuffain, Bruce Levine works with closely held business owners and their internal accounting staff on tax planning, processes and procedures. He enjoys interpreting the nuances of the ever-changing tax code and finding advantageous solutions for his clients. Among his favorite moments is being able to sit with in-house accounting leaders and owners at the end of the day and talk shop. In that comfortable environment, clients often bring up issues that allow Bruce to share insights and resources. To Bruce, being a professional is all about helping people find success.

Bruce provides his clients with guidance on operational matters, such as general transaction recording, software implementation and ways to optimize reporting. He is also an internal resource at Walter Shuffain, assisting the team with client tax research as well as presenting internal training

Bruce holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from UMASS Boston and a Masters in Accountancy degree from Bentley College. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.
