Professional

Being a resource to point clients in the right direction and move them toward problem solving is Angela’s super power.

Serving as the chair of the Massachusetts Board of Public Accountancy in 2021, Angela Parziale demonstrates a continued pursuit of knowledge and answers for clients. She delivers a range of audit, tax and advisory services.

Angela is a valued team member for commercial and residential real estate clients and for industries such as hospitality, manufacturing, wholesale distribution and professional services. Her ideal clients come to her for business and individual tax and advisory guidance. For example, clients who are part of successful business partnerships or real estate ventures will need to discuss specific tax planning strategy that could impact both short-term and long-term business goals.  Business goals flow to personal goals, so these same clients also likely will require a look at individual, trust, or estate planning needs that result from these business decisions. Angela enjoys being their first call for these goals. From these conversations, she can connect clients to additional resources as needed.

An early career achiever, Angela rose in the leadership ranks of Walter Shuffain and the industry at large. Angela earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and her Masters in Taxation degree from Suffolk University She has been with Walter Shuffain since 2000 and a shareholder since 2013.  In 2019, Angela earned a Suffolk University alumni award for contributions to her industry. This includes service and recognition by the local chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) where she served as treasurer and board member as well as her continuing board leadership role on the Massachusetts Board of Public Accountancy. Within Walter Shuffain, Angela dedicates time to mentoring and supporting young professionals in the firm.

Personal

Angela’s great grandparents-in-law built the first pizza place in New England, and she and her three children and husband still love to hang out there for a slice of family time. Her free time is filled with school and extracurricular activities, as she is often tutor, cheerleader and chauffeur.

I want to be the bridge that brings great people together. If by the time I retire, I hear ‘Angela introduced me to my developer,’ or ‘Angela took care of everything so I could focus on my dream of giving back in a big way,’ then I count myself lucky – and might even say, self-actualized.
